SOC 150 - (BH) Global Social Change

Semester Hours: 3
Periodically
Analysis of large-scale social change in the past and present. The emphasis of the course will be on the examination of the dynamics of contemporary globalization. It will include an introduction to theories of social evolution, revolutionary transformation, and the sociological analysis of the “world-system.”
