LAW 3816 - Legal Ethics and Malpractice This course explores ethics and liability issues related to the practice of law. In addition to covering the basic conceptual and ethical precepts of law as a regulated profession, the course will devote a good deal of attention to the study of legal malpractice. In addition to studying the basis for civil and disciplinary liability, the course will cover approaches for managing risk and avoiding discipline and malpractice claims.
