NUR 253 - FNP III: Care of the Adult and Gerontological Patient and Their Families Semester Hours: 7 This is the third of four clinical courses in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program . The student will be provided with a comprehensive foundation of multisystem cardiology, pulmonary, renal, gastrointestinal and endocrine clinical problems. Transitional care must be anticipated and planned for by primary care providers, as patients return to their community following hospitalization. The learning process is a collaborative interprofessional learning environment, providing quality, holistic, scientifically sound, and patient-centered care.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: NUR 251 , 252 . For Graduate Nursing Majors only.
