ENGL 173 - Book Editing II

Semester Hours: 3

Spring
Practices that make up the complete editing of a book: copy and manuscript editing. Production editing, proofreading, symbols, printer’s marks and marking up a manuscript ready for the printer. The use of a style book. Students will edit and produce a book made up from work done by students in the creative writing workshops.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
WSC 001  and ENGL 172 . Students taking the Publishing Studies concentration must take both ENGL 172  and 173.
