CT 268B - Summer Supervised Practicum Extension: Teachers of Non-English Speaking Students

Practicum, under close clinical supervision, of MSEd TESOL, Adv. Cert. TESOL, and MSEd LOTE/TESOL candidates in appropriate level public school settings. Admission by interview and application to the Office of Field Placement by February 15 for summer teaching. Seminars meet weekly with supervisory personnel from the Teaching, Learning and Technology Department and public school districts to work intensively with specific student problems. MSEd and Adv. Cert. TESOL candidates complete at least 50 clock hours at a level other than that of their current certification; MSEd LOTE/TESOL candidates complete at least 50 hours at the elementary level.
