MPHY 290 - Research in Medical Physics Semester Hours: 3 Fall, January, Spring, Summer
Faculty-supervised, hypothesis-driven research project in medical physics. Projects may be in the areas of radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, radiation protection, or related fields. Research work will be presented at medical physics seminar and/or at scientific meetings and conferences.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: MPHY 230 or 240 . Open only to students enrolled in the MS program in medical physics who have completed 12 s.h. in the degree program with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in course work in medical physics or permission of program director. May be repeated once for credit. Pass/Fail grade only.
