SPED 232 - Ethical Considerations in Applied Behavior Analysis


Semester Hours: 3
Once a Year
This course prepares students for the ethical practice of applied behavior analysis. Students learn about the foundations of ethical behavior needed to ensure a high quality of practice in behavior analysis. Students discuss the use of consequences, compensation, relationships with colleagues, dissemination of professional values, evaluating behavior change, collaborating with other professionals, and relationships with clients in conjunction with ethical guidelines.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
SPED 259 . May not be taken on a Pass/Fail basis.
