ENGL 137 - Colonial and Early American Literature From the Puritans Through Irving

An intensive examination of the literature and ideas of Colonial America through the early Republic in personal narratives, essays, sermons, and poetry by such writers as Bradford, Mather, Bradstreet, Rowlandson, Edwards, and Franklin. Oral presentation required.
