RELI 015 - (CC) Introduction to Eastern Religious Traditions
Semester Hours:3Fall, Spring
Survey course concentrating on Indian, Hindu and Buddhist traditions, with some
attention to the religions of China and Japan. Emphasis on tracing two basic lines
of Eastern religious behavior and thought: sectarian and folk devotionalism, and
the elite philosophical and meditational traditions.
