BAN 112 - Spreadsheets for Business Decision Making

Semester Hours: 3


Fall, Spring

This is a hands-on course that familiarizes students with the functions and features of spreadsheets for business decision making.  Students will learn to process, analyze, and visualize data, as well as build dynamic spreadsheet models. This enables students to solve general business problems and to be ready for advanced courses. Topics include formula implementation, data import/ retrieval/ cleaning/ transformation/ visualization, data analysis, and data-driven decision making. Examples from all business fields will be used for extensive practices. Industry standard spreadsheet software will be used.

IT 014. Corequisite: BAN 001.
