PR 298 - Public Relations Capstone I Semester Hours: 3
Fall, Spring, Summer
This course integrates all facets of the graduate public relations curriculum. In this course, students will demonstrate their ability to work in teams to implement a significant multimedia public relations campaign on behalf of a nonprofit organization. The capstone project requires the development of a detailed communication audit on behalf of the client, a proposal outlining the scope, goals and activities of the campaign including a review of the evaluation methods to be used; and the implementation of elements of the proposed campaign as agreed by the organization. At the conclusion of the semester, each student will submit a detailed portfolio of their individual and group work.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: PR 260 , 262 , 263 , 264 . May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis.
