PSY 244 - Practicum Supervision Course I Semester Hours: 1
Fall
This is the first of two courses in the first level practicum supervision sequence. This course introduces students to evidence-based interventions within the school setting. Students will discuss normative development and juxtapose neurotypical development with disorders of psychopathology in the context of cases and issues. Students will review classifications within the educational system, 504 Plans, Individualized Education Plans, functional behavioral assessment plans, behavior intervention plans, and accommodations.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Open only to matriculated students in a doctoral program in psychology. May not be taken on a Pass/Fail basis.
