Successful completion of 24 semester hours of Chinese language courses beyond level 2, and six semester hours in China-related courses, selected under advisement. At least 6 semester hours must be taken in-residence. Students are strongly encouraged to study Chinese in China and return from abroad with 12 s.h. of advanced Chinese language courses.
