A minor in Jewish studies consists of the successful completion of 18 semester hours in Jewish Studies, under the advisement of the program director of Jewish Studies, according to the following guidelines:
- At least nine (9) semester hours in Jewish Studies courses (prefix JWST)
- Optional up to six (6) semester hours in Hebrew. Hebrew Language courses are not required (up to 6 s.h. in Hebrew may count toward the minor).
- Additional required semester hours may be taken from courses outside JWST, with the approval of the program director
- At least six (6) semester hours must be in-residence

- At least 6 hours must be in-residence.
