Minor Requiremnts - Total Semester Hours: 18

A Minor in English consists of the successful completion of 18 semester hours, under advisement, with at least 6 hours in residence, as follows:

• No more than 6 credits from 40- and 50-level ENGL courses
• All other courses must be chosen from 100-level English (ENGL) or Creative Writing (CRWR) courses except that up to 6 hours may be chosen from:

• AMST 145 - Readings in American Studies Semester Hours: 3
• AMST 146 - Seminar in American Studies Semester Hours: 3
• CLL 191 - (LT) Romanticism 3 or Semester Hours: 4
• CLL 195 - (LT) Realism, Naturalism, Symbolism Semester Hours: 3
• CLL 199 - (LT) Contemporary European Literature Semester Hours: 3 or 4
• DRAM 173 - (AA) History of the Drama I Semester Hours: 3
• DRAM 174 - (AA) History of the Drama II Semester Hours: 3
