The minor consists of 18 semester hours chosen
from among the courses listed below, at least six hours of which must be from
among the Department of Philosophy and Religion offerings. At least six
credits must be taken in residence. The minor in religion should be planned
with an adviser in order to adapt it to the needs, abilities and preferences of
the individual student. Students who contemplate graduate study in religion or
professional study in seminary or Rabbinical school after graduation, are especially
encouraged to consult with the department chairperson early in their undergraduate careers.
