The women’s studies program draws upon faculty with expertise in women’s and gender issues in the humanities, social sciences, and the arts. Courses in the program provide interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives on gender roles, allow students to examine the social, political, economic, intellectual, and cultural contributions of women past and present, and to study women’s and men’s lives in the context of changing gender roles.

Minor Requirements - Total Semester Hours: 18
A minor in Women’s Studies consists of the successful completion of 18 semester hours including WST 1D (3 s.h.) and 15 s.h. chosen from among the courses listed below. At least six semester hours must be in residence. Choose Under Advisement From - Semester Hours: 15
