The program is intended for teachers and administrators who already hold a master’s or higher degree in education as well as a valid New York state certification. The program is designed to blend on-campus preparation with field experiences in a variety of settings. The courses are intended to introduce students to the research on adult learning theories and practices in order to prepare them to mentor educators either as staff developers, coaches, or agents of change within an educational institution.
