Minor Requirements - Total Semester Hours: 18
A Minor in Biology consists of the successful completion of 18 semester hours of biology courses with a grade of C- or better with the following exceptions: BIO 003, 004, 050, 103, 105, 106, 123, 125 and 162. At least 6 hours must be taken in residence. Non-Majors Interested in Medical Careers
Students who are interested in medical professions who are not majoring in biology (including post-baccalaureate pre-medical students) should take BIO 011 and 012 . Other courses may be required to meet the prerequisites for a particular program. It is strongly recommended that students interested in medical professions seek advisement from the pre-medical advisers in the Department of Biology and in the Premedical/Prehealth Professional Studies Office in the University Advisement office. |
