The program provides an interdisciplinary exploration of important policy issues
in education and a basic introduction to educational leadership and supervision.
This program is particularly well suited for those who work in independent schools,
libraries, museums, publishing houses, or other non-traditional settings.

Admission Requirements

- Three Departmental Recommendation Forms.
- A detailed resume of professional experiences.
- A comprehensive statement of professional goals and objectives.

Area 1. Administrative Strand - Semester Hours: 16
Area 2. Policy Strand - Semester Hours: 15 Students must choose a minimum of 3 s.h. from each of the areas designated below:A. Philosophical Foundations of Education
B. Historical Foundations of Education
C. Social Foundations of Education and Policy Issues
Area 3. Teaching & Learning Strand - Semester Hours: 3
Area 4. Completion Projection - Semester Hours: 2
