DNCE 30 - Rhythmic Training and Accompaniment for Dance
A study of rhythmic concepts as they apply to making, performing, viewing and
teaching dance. The course will also include practice in percussive accompaniment,
rhythmic notation, use of computer technology for the development of accompaniment,
and the analysis and use of music from varied cultures.
Prerequisites & Notes
Open only to dance majors and minors, or by permission of instructor. This course
has received provisional approval.
