PHA 227 - Medicine III

Summer
The third course in the three-course medicine sequence, this course explores the subspecialty medicine disciplines of pediatrics, geriatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, emergency medicine and surgery. The diagnosis and treatment of disease states found in these sub-disciplines will be described, and each will be contrasted to basic concepts learned in PHA 224 and 225 . Integration with PSY 234 will be made for all diseases discussed.
