The community perspective on health and disease is presented in this course. Issues related to health promotion, disease prevention, immunization, and public health will be examined. Students will also explore curent topics related to regional, national and global health.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Open only to students enrolled in the professional phase of the Physician Assistant Studies program. May not be taken on a Pass/Fail basis.
