MATH 061 - (MA) Basic Calculus with Applications

Semester Hours: 4
Fall, Spring
This is a terminal course that should not be taken by students who wish to continue in mathematics. Functions, limits, differentiation, and integration and applications to business and the biological and social sciences. Similar to MATH 061A , but with more time for review and applications. 

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
MATH 006A  or Math Placement scores as interpreted by advisement. MATH 050  strongly recommended. Students may receive credit for only one of the following courses: MATH 061A, MATH 061, or MATH 071.  Those interested in continuing on to MATH 072 should take MATH 071  instead of MATH 061.
