SPAN 197 - Departmental Honors Candidacy: EssaySemester Hours: 3
Fall, Spring
The research for and the writing of a substantial essay (in either Spanish or English) in the field of Spanish or Spanish-American literature and culture. Open only to senior Spanish majors who desire to graduate with departmental honors. This course, as all courses with the SPAN prefix, is taught in Spanish.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
SPAN 111 , 112 , or permission; written permission of the professor who will supervise the essay and appropriate grade point average. (See Departmental Honors Program .)
