BIOL 120 - Evolution, Ecology and BehaviorSemester Hours: 4 This course will introduce students to the evolutionary and ecological processes that affect individual organisms, populations and communities. Topics of study include the unity and diversity of life, the complex web of ecological interactions between organisms and their environment, and the evolutionary mechanisms that shape life’;s diversity. Related topics of current interest, such as biodiversity, conservation, and behavioral ecology will be considered.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: BIO 011 or BIOL 113 , and Bio 012 or BIOL 112 ; Biology major or permission of instructor. Credit is given for either BIOL 120 or BIO 014.
