NUR 414 - Doctoral Project: Project Evaluation and Dissemination Semester Hours: 1
This course is the culminating fifth course of the DNP Scholarly Project. Demonstrate synthesis of the AACN Essentials for Doctoral Education for Advanced Nursing Practice. This course offers the student mentored opportunities to implement, defend and disseminate the DNP scholarly project to improve patient and population health outcomes. The course will highlight the integrative application and demonstrate student progression from a doctoral student into an emerging practice scholar. After this course, students are expected to demonstrate completion of a minimum of 500 practice hours in an area related to their practice inquiry. The student will integrate the academic achievements and evidence in a final presentation to reflect advanced empirical, theoretical, leadership, and specialized knowledge and skills to clinical practice and systems-level experience.
