ACCT 134 - Accounting Information Systems and ControlsSemester Hours: 3 Periodically
This course focuses on current developments in auditing practice and the use of advanced accounting technologies to enhance audit procedures. Students will apply technology tools to simulated audit scenarios. The interrelationship between risk assessment, internal controls, and the accounting information system will be examined through the lens of auditing.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: ACCT 133 or approved equivalent. Credit given for this course or ACCT 234, not both.
