ANTH 125 - Anthropology Goes to the MoviesSemester Hours: 3 Periodically
Role of film in anthropological representation and the way that anthropology is representation in popular film. Topics include: evolution; archaeological research; language; culture and nationality; the construction of race; gender and kinship, and politics. Texts and films introduce the field of anthropology and are a starting point for critical inquiry.
