MASS 011 - Mass Communications in Contemporary SocietySemester Hours: 3 Fall, Spring
This course is an intensive study of various tested theories and modes of analysis. Students will analyze the functions, nature, and content of the media and the social, political, and economic impact of modern communication technologies. The course also examines the effects of media on our political, legal, economic, social, and value systems with an emphasis on ideas, diversity, relationships, and issues.
