MUS 048 - (AA) Music Histories, Genres and Cultures

Semester Hours: 3
Fall

A broad survey of music, largely drawing from American musical culture, including folk and popular styles, as well as the European “classical” tradition, but also touching on musical traditions from outside of the United States and Europe.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Designed primarily for music majors and minors, but suitable for non-majors with strong interest in music. No prerequisite.
