PR 102 - Insights and Analytics

Fall, Spring

This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the importance of research in developing public relations strategies that impact audiences, public awareness, and action. Conducting their own projects, students learn how research can be used to create and strengthen public relations campaigns. Students gain an understanding of probability sampling, research methodologies, digital and social media surveys, data analytics, and report writing. Students will learn how to obtain and analyze information and how to present and communicate findings into actionable recommendations for targeted audiences.
