PSC 127 - Constitutional Law:The Struggle For PowerSemester Hours: 3 Fall
The Constitution is a legal and political document which, as interpreted by the Supreme Court, resolves the struggle for power between the legislative and executive branches as well as between federal, state, and local governments. This course, employing the Socratic method and the reading and briefing of Supreme Court cases (as practiced in law school), examines the key constitutional themes of judicial review, separation of powers, checks and balances, and federalism.
