PSC 135 - International PoliticsSemester Hours: 3 Fall, Spring
International Politics asks a fundamental question: how can we make sense of the complex and ever-changing arena of international politics? This course develops a variety of international relations theories and models that help us to understand how world politics work, how states and other international actors operate within the international system, and why states cooperate – and sometimes don’t – when faced with global challenges. The course provides a foundation to understand war/conflict, globalization, economic development, global environmental challenges, human rights, international law, and other critical topics in world politics.
