SPAN 111 - Advanced Spanish Grammar

Semester Hours: 3

Periodically

Students will investigate some of the more advanced grammatical rules that underlie the Spanish language. Students will be expected to identify parts of speech, describe the rules of grammar and familiarize themselves with regular and irregular verb forms.  Attention is given to the function of past tense to describe past events, the use of the verbs ser vs. estar, and the use of the subjunctive vs. the indicative mood. This course, as all courses with the SPAN prefix, is taught in Spanish.
