MASS 133 - Media and Journalism in Latin America

Semester Hours: 3

The course critically examines media and cultural issues in the Americas. The readings cover contemporary developments in the press, television, internet, grassroots/citizens’ media, and cultural transformations caused by an increasingly globalized media climate. It will include historical overviews as well as contemporary developments. 

 

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
MASS 001 . The course is the same as LACS 110 .
