OTH 213 - Occupational Engagement and Performance: Movement and Mobility

This course examines the physical movement and mobility determinants of occupation to provide students with knowledge and skills for developing occupation-based intervention plans related to neuromuscular and movement-related functions. This course will also focus on designing occupation-based interventions that are client-centered and involve considerations of the context, environment, and evidence. This course is paired with OTH 213 Occupational Engagement and Performance: Movement and Mobility Lab. The lab component complements this course by providing the hands-on component needed to develop clinical skills used in occupational therapy practice.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Successful completion of all required course work of the Didactic Year 1 of the Occupational Therapy, MS .
