Summer
This course introduces students to linguistic and cultural differences and how they relate to typical language development and usage, education, and communication disorders. Students will learn to appreciate variation in language and communication across cultures, be cognizant of issues in education, assessment, and treatment of multicultural populations.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: SPCH 207 , SPCH 209 , SPCH 228 , SPCH 229 . May not be taken on a Pass/Fail basis.
