ENGL 264 - Book Promotion Semester Hours: 3 Spring
This course introduces students to various activities by which a publisher promotes a book: the development of catalogs, advertising, media promotion, field sales calls, distribution to bookstores, libraries and wholesalers. Student projects address the changing landscape of publishing and promotion, and representation of work beyond the page (i.e. in social media and literary festivals).
