CSC 221 - Data Science


Semester Hours: 3
An overview of Data Science, covering a number of important issues in and algorithms for working with big data. Topics include: data collection, integration, preprocessing, modeling, analysis, visualization, prediction and informed decision making, data security and privacy.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Course open to graduate students in computer science, others need permission from computer science graduate director.
