NUR 411 - Doctoral Project: Translating Methods & Research for Project Implementation Semester Hours: 1 This course allows the doctoral (DNP) student to integrate and synthesize information from prior course work to demonstrate synthesis of the AACN Essentials for Doctoral Education for Advanced Nursing Practice. Prior concepts of transformational leadership and translational science will prepare students to complete organizational assessments for the DNP project. In consultation and mentorship with a DNP Project Faculty Advisor, students will complete critical appraisal of evidence utilizing clinical informatics, databases and best practices. This course will explore strategies for creating a culture of change within systems. The goal of the course will be to translate a completed systematic review to implement a practice change or innovation.
