OTH 232 - Occupational Therapy Professional Competence Seminar


Semester Hours: No credit
This comprehensive course is designed to facilitate critical thinking and integration of previous course learning to prepare the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam. This course uses critical analyses of professional entry competencies for the occupational therapist, including certification, licensure, and professional development responsibilities. Students will examine their current level of competence and design learning plans that can be used for their development of capacity for future practice. Professional self-assessment and test-taking strategies are explored.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
Successful completion of all first year and second year courses.
