HIT 220 - Data Visualization Semester Hours: 3 Data visualization is an essential skill required for health informaticians in the data-driven world of healthcare. With its foundations rooted in statistics, psychology, and computer science, practitioners use visualization to explore and present data. It is as important to display your information as it is to create it properly. This course shows you how to understand your data better, present clear evidence of your findings to your intended audience, and tell engaging data stories that depict the points you want to make all through data graphics. You will learn PowerBI, a data visualization tool from Microsoft that is used by many health organizations.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: At least 30 credit hours in the HIT program or by approval of the program director.
