HIT 221 - Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, and Robotic Process Automation for Medical Informatics Semester Hours: 3 This introductory course aims to provide graduate students in Medical Informatics with a foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Robotics, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in the context of healthcare and patient care. The course accommodates students from clinical and non-clinical backgrounds, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of these technologies and their practical applications in the healthcare industry. Through lectures, discussions, and hands-on projects, students will gain knowledge of the fundamental concepts, techniques, and ethical considerations associated with AI, ML, robotics, and RPA, as well as develop skills to apply these technologies to improve patient care.
