ENGG 163 - Mechanics of Solids and Properties of Materials Laboratory

Semester Hours: 1
Fall, Spring

Experimental determination of the properties of engineering materials. The behavior of solids subjected to axial, flexural, and torsional stresses. Investigation of creep characteristics, temperature-dependent behavior, and microscopic examination of heat-treated metals.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
ENGG 027 , 028  or permission of instructor. No liberal arts credit.
