ITAL 108 - One-on-One Conversation SkillsSemester Hours: 0.5
Fall, Spring
Stresses authentic intonation patterns, oral proficiency, and listening comprehension. Students meet on an individual basis once a week for 25 minutes with an instructor who is a speaker of standard Italian. The syllabus is established between instructor and student in the first week and focuses onareas where the student requires more practice and improved competency (grammatical and/or cultural).
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
ITAL 002 , ITAL 003 , or ITAL 004 by course completion or by placement score. Note: may not be used to satisfy the foreign language requirement; course may be repeated; a total of 3 s.h. may be applied toward the BA degree. A total of 3 s.h. may be applied toward ITAL major and ITAL or ITST minor. Pass/Fail grade only.
