PR 103 - Writing for Public Relations and MediaSemester Hours: 3 Fall, Spring
This course emphasizes writing skills fundamental to the public relations profession by examining content rules, approaches, and various media styles. Topics will include founding principles of integrated media writing, including grammar and punctuation, AP style, presentations and speeches, social media content, and communication ethics. The class will emphasize storytelling within various platforms using multi-media images and appropriate writing to reach target audiences effectively.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: PR 100 . May not be taken on a Pass/D+/D/Fail basis.
