PSY 100 - Departmental Honors Candidacy: Research

Semester Hours: 3-4
Fall, Spring
The research for and the writing of a substantial essay in the field of psychology such as a major literature review or an original experiment.

Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes:
PSY 001  or 001A . Open only to senior psychology majors who are eligible for and desire to graduate with departmental honors. Interested students must secure the written permission of a full-time faculty member who will supervise the project. An oral defense will be conducted at the conclusion of the project. May be repeated for credit for up to 6 semester hours.
