BIOL 121 - General PhysiologySemester Hours: 4 A comprehensive introduction to the physiology of multicellular eukaryotic organisms, with emphasis on the comparative study of plant and animal functions. Topics will include how plants and animals regulate internal environments, acquire nutrition, transport materials, respond to stimuli, transfer information via chemical and/or electrochemical signals, and reproduce.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: BIO 011 or BIOL 113 , BIO 012 or BIOL 112 . Biology major or permission of instructor.
