ENGG 155 - Lean Six Sigma For EngineersSemester Hours: 3 This course enables engineering students to acquire an understanding of quality management. This course will cover basic quality concepts, quality theories, and quality standards. Moreover, the course provides a concise description of the primary quality tools used in manufacturing and service environments. Some of the topics covered will be total quality management, quality and global competitiveness, strategic management, ISO 9000, total quality tools, quality function deployment, statistical process control, and Six Sigma.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: ENGG 185 or 189 or permission by the department.
